Paul: 5 Crypto Predictions 🔮 for 2025 

Here at ATG Digital, we believe 2025 will be the year crypto goes mainstream. Currently, it’s making all-time high after all-time high:

Right now, members of our community likely own crypto or crypto-related investments — but we’re in a tiny minority. 

Most people don’t own crypto — and some still don't even know what it is. 

However, by now, nearly everyone has at least heard of Bitcoin USD (BTC-USD). 

When it comes to crypto adoption, BTC is the tip of the spear.

In our view, it will reign as the king of the crypto universe in 2025. 

And today, I’d like to cover five predictions we’re making as things unfold in the new year . . .

1: BTC Will Hit $1 Million 🤯

The reason behind BTC’s dominance is simple: It’s set to hit $1 million next year. 

Of course, that’s just my opinion — not a guarantee. 

However, I can say that my ATG Digital team and I have plenty at stake in this prediction.

Personally, I’ve been HODLing (holding on for dear life) BTC since late 2018. 

And this year, ATG Digital committed its reserves to BTC. In other words, we’ve put our money where our mouth is.

2: MSTR 0.00%↑ Will Outperform BTC 💪

I also believe that MicroStrategy Incorporated (Nasdaq: MSTR) will outperform BTC in 2025. 

MSTR 0.00%↑ pioneered the idea of using financial markets to buy BTC in 2020. 

Since then, it’s amassed a hoard of 279,420 BTC at an average price of $42,692.

This includes its 27,200 recently purchased tokens:

The company has outperformed pretty much everything, and we expect it to continue to do so in 2025.

For example, here’s a look at how much it has outperformed other investment benchmarks:

Now, in this world, you don’t get something for nothing — so understand that MSTR 0.00%↑ is riskier than BTC. 

This means that if things go wrong, MSTR 0.00%↑ will crash far more than BTC. 

3: COIN 0.00%↑ Will Reach $1K 🫨

Coinbase Global Inc. (Nasdaq: COIN) is the world’s largest, most dominant crypto business. 

COIN 0.00%↑’s business combines multiple roles in the crypto industry.

It operates a trading platform for crypto, much like the New York Stock Exchange, and holds crypto for individuals and institutions like a money manager, similar to BlackRock. 

Additionally, it processes, custodies, and secures crypto assets much like the Bank of New York. 

In short, COIN 0.00%↑ participates in every aspect of the crypto value chain. 

We expect a boom in institutional crypto adoption in 2025, driving explosive growth across every part of COIN 0.00%↑’s business and potentially pushing its stock to $1K. 

4: Stablecoins Will Soar 🚀

Stablecoins are crypto tokens that track the value of sovereign currencies like the U.S. dollar. 

In simple terms, they’re like digital dollars.

We believe they’re on track to become a multi trillion-dollar asset in 2025 because they offer huge benefits to users. 

First, sending and receiving money using a stablecoin is faster than a wire or electronic fund transfer. 

Second, stablecoins are recorded on the blockchain, so anyone can see everything in real time. 

Third, the cost is less than current forms of money movement.

Finally, stablecoins offer high interest rates of 5%, which are super attractive relative to checking/savings accounts. 

One way to get in on the stablecoin trade is to own PayPal Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: PYPL), which already has its own stablecoin, PayPal USD USD (PYUSD-USD).

You could also consider holding Robinhood Markets Inc. (Nasdaq: HOOD), which is set to release its own stablecoin soon.

5: CRV Will Rip Higher 🙌

Building on our last prediction, Curve DAO USD (CRV-USD) is the largest and most dominant stablecoin exchange that we believe will be a major beneficiary of the stablecoin boom. 

Stablecoins can sometimes lose their “peg.” For example, U.S. dollar stablecoins are pegged at $1. 

However, if a big holder of a stablecoin wants to sell it all at once, it could potentially lose its peg and trade for less than $1. 

Because of this, stablecoin issuers and folks looking to buy and sell large amounts of any stablecoin use the CRV exchange. 

They buy stablecoins selling below $1 and sell those trading over $1. This is called “arbitrage.”

Open-source decentralized finance (DeFi) platform DeFiLlama already listed over 200 stablecoins. 

I believe that there will be hundreds more issued in the next 12 to 18 months as crypto adoption explodes. 

A thousand stablecoins is not out of the question, and the amount of stablecoin arbitrage trading we’ll likely see will be mind-blowing. 

CRV’s business benefits from the trading through fees, so as that happens, its token should surge higher!
