Dean: Amazon Is Calling B.S. 😡
You won’t believe this . . .
After cozying up to President Trump via generous donations to his campaign, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and the president appear to be having a falling out.
Well, at least according to the White House:
This all began as reports leaked that Amazon was considering listing a tariff fee on products in an effort to be transparent with consumers as prices inevitably rise due to tariffs.
While Trump claims that consumers won’t pay rising prices as tariffs are enacted, it’s clear that big business sees things differently.
In response to the news, the White House slammed Amazon’s inclusion of a tariff charge at checkout as “a hostile and political act.”
Ironically, before the markets closed, Amazon released a statement that it wouldn’t include a tariff charge as consumers are checking out.
But let’s be real . . .
Do you actually think businesses won’t pass on the cost of tariffs to consumers?
Believe it or not, some companies have already implemented tariff surcharges!
Tariffs are a nightmare for businesses who outsource products and manufacturing abroad.
However, one stock is enjoying a major tailwind courtesy of tariffs!
Paul Was Right on the Money 🤑
Yesterday, our lead analyst, Paul Mampilly, covered one stock from this trend that ballooned 360% in just eight months:
Today, I want to follow up on his thesis with another stock that’s gaining momentum in this sector.
Despite being a micro-cap stock (in our Diamond Tier), it appears to be on better footing with the White House than Amazon:
In essence, the U.S. is hoping to divert a crisis in the precious metals market.
With trade war tensions rising, China is restricting precious metal exports to the U.S.
This is a huge issue for the U.S. since precious metals are used to produce essentials like arms, electronics, and medical devices — among others.
With domestic demand skyrocketing in the U.S. while supply shrinks amid deglobalization, this is an amazing opportunity for Perpetua Resources Corp. (Nasdaq: PPTA).
PPTA 0.00%↑ focuses on the exploration of gold and silver antimony deposits, essential in developing arms.
That said, it’s no wonder the White House is giving it the green light as a Priority Project!
The Extent of the Deal 📝
As a result of an executive order passed on March 20, 2025, federal agencies are directed to streamline permitting for identified Priority Projects to advance domestic mining under the Defense Production Act (DPA).
With deglobalization in full swing, it’s hard to say how high PPTA 0.00%↑ could be bid up.
Since adding it to our Diamond Tier model portfolio in October, we’re up 53%.
That said, we’ll continue to hold to potentially capture a triple-digit gain.
