While HOOD 0.00%↑ has exposure to the crypto market via its U.S.-based crypto exchange, it recently invested $200 million to strengthen its footing in this global market:
Following this news, the stock surged 5% — making a new all-time high of $72.44!
Should Bitcoin USD (BTC-USD) soar, we can expect HOOD 0.00%↑ to make new highs with even more exposure to the crypto market following its Bitstamp acquisition.
Now, I will be honest: I took some profit.
That’s the name of the game, right?
But I’m a long-term believer in the stock and continue to hold it as a blue chip.
