Paul: The First Spark 🧨 of a Robotics Wildfire

Over the summer, I introduced you to my Tesla Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA) Cybertruck, “Elsa.” 👇

Elsa just received a full self-driving (FSD) update to version 13.2.

And let me tell you . . . this version is amazing.

Just look at my colleague Dean’s amazement as he drives Elsa:

It’s as close to a (good) human driver as I’ve ever experienced with FSD — and I’ve used it since 2018.

Now, FSD 13.2 is also the version that TSLA 0.00%↑ used to power the Cybercab during its robotaxi event on October 10.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I believe TSLA 0.00%↑’s Cybercab will revolutionize the world of personal transportation.

That’s because robotaxis are set to completely collapse the per-mile cost of transportation.

Robots 🤖 Are Taking Over (Don’t Panic)

However, that’s just the beginning . . .

The Cybercab will also change the delivery system.

Currently, if you use services like DoorDash Inc. (Nasdaq: DASH) or Instacart — Maplebear Inc. (Nasdaq: CART) — part of the per-mile cost you’re paying includes a vehicle with a human driver.

However, once robotaxis become established, it’s very likely that delivery services will quickly adapt to use them.

Thus, robotaxis will cut delivery costs down significantly.

So, another way to play the coming robotaxi revolution is to own delivery services poised to thrive alongside it!

As this revolution unfolds, we’ll also see innovations in robotics.

Companies could repurpose those robots to clean seats in other places.
